On January 18th, 2014 our group decided to learn how to use a video slider. Essentially it is a device that allows you to capture video while sliding it on a rail system. My school’s slider is a 150cm Varavon with a Manfrotto 502 video head. The video below illustrates some of techniques we were learning and the results of our first time trying slider shots. Enjoy.
