Colin and Andre decided to join on my scouting day to Mount Nemo to check out the walk/route to the best places to take photos/video. It had been some time since I was there (my boys were 3 years old the last time I was here… they are 27 now… lol ?). It was the same yet different… the walk was pretty much the same but clearly there has been some growth and a few more trails. The look-out was ideal for watching for the soaring birds and was the ideal time to test out my tripod fluid head setup with my Tamron 150-600 mm lens… it worked perfectly although I feel like Andre’s 80-200mm handheld was faster to respond to the soaring birds above us. My reach was better so the images of the birds below are all “uncropped” which I find immensely satisfying…. lol ? I am hoping we get as good a day on Thursday.
